When I was a child, I heard someone say, "If you put an ad in a newspaper and ask for money, people will send you money." If you think about it, it's akin to "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find." The thinking behind this theory is spiritual; the assumption is that the person is praying and asking God for help. If you're not inclined to think this way, I understand, but I've decided to exercise my faith muscle. That's what this is about, having a little faith.
